Comment: Lot #106, ex. Kevin Ward Collection.An amazing plate of flashy red-orange spessartine garnets on gem-like smoky quartz points. Even the matrix on this beautiful specimen is completely covered with garnets. The spot in the front at 6 o'clock is a rehealed smoky and not damage. Actually the specimen is as close to perfect as you can get with a plate of this size. Only one tiny bump shows on a smoky point.Ex: Martin Zinn Collection
