Comment: A fine CABINET fluorite specimen from 2006 finds in Henan Province, China. Intergrown, sharp fluorite cubes in strange, intergrown knobs on a matrix which is partially purple fluorite comprise this unusual piece. The translucent fluorites are brown to yellow, when front-lit, but glow a gorgeous, golden-amber when back-lit. The backlit photo is unretouched. A spectacular specimen.
