Comment: This very colorful small cab is a classic style for this mine, from the 1960s era, in all likelihood. John Ydren was active in this time and had a large suite of such specimens, of different habits and styles. This is what I call the "fat caramel" style of Los Lamentos wulfenite, with fat equant crystals of a solid unvarying color in orangey-caramel hue. The display core of the piece is undamaged - just a few crysals on either side have breaks, and those are, i think, quite acceptable when you see the wall of color between them. Sits on a custom made base.
Minerals: Wulfenite (PbMoO4)
