Comment: First-class plate of sparkling, glittery Olmiite of varying habits resting on a bed of small, lustrous and gemmy Calcites. The main Olmiite crystal is a classic, radial, 2.1 cm sphere with great luster, good cinnamon-peach color, and good translucence. The smaller crystals, which are about .8-1.5 cm in size, grow in the more blocky, prismatic habit. What is interesting, beyond the fact that they have very good luster and color, is that the terminations of these crystals tend to splay, instead of being so rounded as most are. Overall, a super combination of the these two well-known minerals, and very aesthetically displayed. ex. Charlie Key
