Comment: Brazil produces some of the largest and most impressive Smoky Quartz gems in the world. The particular stone has a lovely "smoky" color which is reminiscent of the world famous Smoky Quartz crystals from the Alps. The stone is virtually eye clean with a standard "Oval" cut, and is nearly perfectly calibrated so it could easily be placed into a pre-fabricated setting. A very attractive gem from this well known gem producing country.
