Comment: Gem, amber calcite scalenohedrons cover this impressive large, bladed barite hemisphere from the Elmwood Mine. The richness of the calcite coverage is exceptional for the combination and really adds character. There only a few bruised calcite for such dense coverage and the contact is out-of-sight on the display view. Rare and very showy older combination material from the Consie Prince Collection. Hefty barite at 1798 grams or 4 pounds.

Minerals: Barite (BaSO4) Calcite (CaCO3)
