Comment: An old New York calcite specimen, extremely rich and sizeable, covered with light amber crystals to 3.3 cm. The crystals have very good luster, and though this is a large specimen, there is very minor damage (just a few little bruises on the display face). If you win this auction, be sure to look for the rogue triangular, symmetrical crystal, with pyramidal sides like the terminations of all the other "normal" crystals - just a crystallographic freak in the formation of this specimen. ex. Minerals: Calcite (CaCO3)
