Comment: I apologize in advance that this large, truly impressive fluorite specimen from China got through without its locality label. It was purchased from a Chinese dealer at the Denver Show, and we were unable to determine which of our contacts it came from without a lot of emailing photos around, etc. At any rate - this was a seam of matrix that was exposed on both sides in the pocket; there are crystals on the back side too, but the side you see in the photos is definitely the display face. And wow - just look at the larger of the two fluorites here. It is just amazingly perfect in person - flawless, with thousands of tiny cubic steppes on its faces, terminated and complete everywhere, with no contacts. It measures 6.5 cm tip-to-tip! The smaller crystal is also undamaged. If you really prefer a small cab specimen, you COULD very easily trim around the big crystal and have a magnificent specimen.

Minerals: Fluorite (CaF2) Quartz (SiO2)
