Comment: Chalcanthite, whose name derives from the Greek, chalkos and anthos, meaning copper flower, is a richly-colored blue/green water-soluble sulfate mineral. Suspect grown in Poland. Treated with Krylon Crystal Clear Acrylic to preserve it. (As of 1/7/22 the preservative has not worked very well).

Minerals: Chalcanthite (CuSO4 5(H2O))
